EN 388:2016 (3X42D) reports the gloves’ tested mechanical-risk performance:
- Abrasion resistance (3): Level 3 on a 0–4 scale indicates resistance to at least 2,000 abrasion cycles.
- Blade cut resistance (X): No rating is reported for the rotating-blade test, which uses a 0–5 scale.
- Tear resistance (4): Level 4 is the highest rating on the 0–4 scale and indicates resistance to at least 75 newtons of tearing force.
- Puncture resistance (2): Level 2 on a 0–4 scale indicates resistance to at least 60 newtons of puncture force.
- ISO straight-blade cut resistance (D): Level D on the A–F scale indicates resistance to at least 15 newtons of cutting force.
EN ISO 21420:2020 sets general requirements for protective gloves, including design, comfort, harmlessness and product information; it does not provide a numbered protection rating. The product information also lists UKCA, EAC and Ukraine conformity markings.

Instructions and Care
- Do not wear near rotating machine parts, such as saw blades or drills, due to the risk of entanglement. If the tear level is 1 or higher, do not use near moving machinery.
- These gloves are designed to minimise general handling risks. They do not protect against chemicals, hot or cold objects, or very sharp objects striking the hands with great force or speed.
- Store in the original packaging in clean, covered and ventilated premises under normal temperature and humidity conditions.
