MILWAUKEE BOLT™ Compact Helmet-Mounted Polycarbonate Face Shield

Give your BOLT™ 200 helmet a slim, compact face shield with a panoramic field of vision. The over-glasses polycarbonate visor flips up even when a BOLT™ light is installed, while the BOLT™ attachment system makes fitting and removal straightforward. Certified to EN 166 for personal eye protection, the visor also has certified scratch-resistant and anti-fog properties.

Certification

The over-glasses visor is certified to EN 166, the European standard for personal eye protection. Its markings identify the following ratings:

Lens marking — 2C-1.2 MT 1 FT KN CE UKCA: 2C-1.2 identifies a UV filter with good colour recognition and a shade number of 1.2; 1 is the highest optical class, intended for continuous use.
FT: The lens and frame are rated for low-energy impact at temperature extremes.
K: The lens meets the EN 166 resistance-to-surface-damage test for fine particles.
N: The lens meets the EN 166 resistance-to-fogging test.
CE and UKCA: These markings appear on the lens; the frame is marked CE.
Frame marking — MT 166 FT CE: Identifies the manufacturer, EN 166 standard and frame impact rating.

Instructions and Care

Before each use, check that the visor is not damaged and is properly fitted.
Do not use scratched or damaged shields.
Always use both hands to install and remove the product.
Do not use the shield unless it is securely attached to a helmet.
Do not store in direct sunlight, near aggressive chemicals, at a temperature below 40 °C or at a humidity level below 70%; store in a dark, dry place without mechanical load.
Store and transport only in the recommended original packaging.
