PLANAM Size Guide

How to Measure – Men

Height: Stand upright and measure from the crown of your head to the soles of your feet.

Collar width: Place the tape around the base of your neck, leaving it comfortable (not too tight). The circumference in cm is your collar size.

Chest circumference: Measure horizontally around the fullest part of your chest, under the armpits and across the shoulder blades.

Waist measurement: Measure where your belt normally sits, keeping the tape measure horizontal.

Front sleeve length: Start at the outside of your upper arm at armpit level, bend your arm slightly and measure down to the wrist.

Inseam length: Measure from the crotch down to the sole of the foot.

All values below are body measurements in centimeters (cm), not garment dimensions.

Tip: Measure over light clothing. If your measurement falls between two sizes, choose the larger size for more comfort and freedom of movement.

How to Measure – Women

This standard ensures the dungarees provide reliable protection for the knees, especially for workers who kneel frequently. When combined with official PLANAM knee pads (Art.-Nr. 9901027), these overalls meet:

Type 2: Internal protection – knee pads fitted inside dedicated pockets of the garment for versatile movement and protection during work.
Level 1: Protects against penetration on flat or uneven surfaces in normal kneeling work, tested for a minimum performance with 100 ±5 N penetration resistance.

This standard means you are safeguarded against sharp objects and rough ground while still enjoying comfort and flexibility.

Instructions and Care

Use the appropriate wash cycle for colored laundry made of cotton, polyester, or blends.
Do not bleach. Only use bleach-free detergents.
Tumble dry with caution: use gentle drying and avoid high heat or long durations.
Iron on a setting suitable for wool/silk/polyester/viscose, using a damp cloth. Steam iron is allowed, but avoid strong pressing and stretching.
Do not dry clean. Avoid solvent-based stain removers.
