Milwaukee BOLT™ Compact Helmet-Mounted Polycarbonate Face Shield

Protect your face without sacrificing visibility with the Milwaukee BOLT™ Compact Face Shield. Its full polycarbonate visor provides a panoramic field of vision, while the slim, space-saving design fits BOLT™ 200 helmets. The visor flips up even when a BOLT™ light is installed, and the intuitive BOLT™ attachment system makes installation and removal easy. Certified to EN 166, the visor also carries anti-scratch and anti-fog markings.

Certification

EN 166 is the European standard for personal eye protection. The supplied markings identify the visor’s and frame’s tested properties:

Lens marking — 2C-1,2 MT 1 AT 9 KN CE UKCA: 2C-1,2 identifies a UV filter with good colour recognition and shade number 1.2; MT is the manufacturer’s mark.
Optical class 1: The highest of three optical classes, suitable for continuous use.
AT: High-speed particle impact protection at the high-energy level, tested at temperature extremes; EN 166 impact levels progress from F (low) to B (medium) to A (high).
9: Resistance to molten metal and hot solids.
K and N: K indicates resistance to surface damage by fine particles; N indicates resistance to fogging.
CE and UKCA: Conformity markings shown on the lens.
Frame marking — MT 166 3 9 AT CE: Identifies the manufacturer and EN 166 standard; 3 indicates protection against liquid droplets or splashes, while 9, AT and CE have the meanings described above.

Instructions and Care

Before each use, check that the visor is undamaged and properly fitted.
Do not continue using a scratched or damaged shield.
Always use both hands to install and remove the product.
Do not use the shield unless it is securely attached to a helmet.
Do not store in direct sunlight or near aggressive chemicals. Store in a dark, dry place without mechanical load; the supplied storage guidance specifies a temperature below 40 °C and humidity below 70%.
Store and transport only in the recommended original packaging.
