EN 388:2016 (4X44E) rates protection against mechanical risks:
- Abrasion resistance (4): Rated 4 on a 1–4 scale, the highest abrasion rating.
- Blade cut resistance (X): No rating is provided for the circular-blade cut test.
- Tear resistance (4): Rated 4 on a 1–4 scale, the highest tear rating.
- Puncture resistance (4): Rated 4 on a 1–4 scale, the highest puncture rating.
- ISO straight-blade cut resistance (E): Rated E on an A–F scale, indicating resistance of at least 22 newtons in this test.
EN ISO 21420:2020 sets general requirements for protective gloves, including design, comfort and innocuousness; it does not assign a separate protection level.

Instructions and Care
- Do not wear near rotating machine parts, such as saw blades or drills, due to the risk of entanglement. If the tear level is 1 or higher, do not use near moving machinery.
- Designed to minimise risks associated with general handling. The gloves do not protect against chemicals, hot or cold objects, or very sharp objects striking the hands with great force or speed.
- Store in the original packaging in clean, covered and ventilated premises under normal temperature and humidity conditions. Storage temperature: -5°C to 35°C; storage humidity: 20% to 75%.
- The gloves can be used out of the packaging for 5 years after the production date printed on the glove. Service life depends on wear and abrasion.
